About the Center
The Cameron Lake Outdoor Education and Environmental Studies Center is owned by School District 60 and is available for use by all district staff, pupils and public by request. The Center is located in a natural Boreal forest setting on the shore of Cameron Lake, 25km South of Hudson’s Hope on Highway 29.
The Center is used primarily for school use for environmental learning and student recreation. It is available also for public use, suitable for a variety of events, such as private family rentals, weddings, banquets, reunions, organized events, camping and more.
Public users are currently required to privately book the space for use.
Here's What You Need To Do!
Visitor Experiences
The centre is available for families and other private users to book for day or overnight use.
Book kids Birthday Parties, Family Holidays or Weekend Getaways.
Larger groups greater than 25 guests and Special events are booked with a discounted rate.
Book Events, Reunions, Weddings and Retreats.
Public recreation is welcome at the Center. There are approx 20 km of Hiking and X-Country Ski trails. Some trails are suitable for Mountain Bikes and/or Horses.
To keep our space safe and users accountable, a membership will soon be required and users must check-in and out when recreating.
